make me cry using only 2 words.

Of course, it’s the wholesome truth.

  A teenage boy sitting alone
in the remnants of a camp,
  shield laying on the bloody
  dirt beside him.

The words are more of an
  unwanted echo, resounding
  what he’s heard so many
  times in the past.

      And of course, he’s crying.
      Red gloves are dark crimson
with every tear that falls from
his eyes, muffled sobs for the
lost that he could not save.

Ultron will come for him later, this
this he realizes, but in his time of
        grieving and blaming himself, the
boy knows he will be forced to accept
his fate just as the others. He’s not
        strong like everyone else was.

  Family sticks together,
  but now… they’re all g o n e.

 Tony, I–

  His words falter, explanation
cannot be given for what he
has just done to be scolded
  so harshly.

      Those words strike him like
      lightning, lips pressing together
as the boy makes himself be
quiet before he can make it
      worse and it already is.

 Yes, sir… I know…
